You all know this story by now... but we'll tell it anyway.

One day in October of 2022, our moms were playing pickleball (as they do) and met for the first time. Of course, they immediately started talking about their kids, realized they had a pair they could make, and exchanged numbers.

A few weeks later, Zach texted Carly to set up a first date, and she said yes (once she confirmed I really did get her number from her mom!).

The rest...well you know how it ends!

In January 2024, our lives got soooooo much better (and cuter) when we welcome Toby into our lives. Since then our love for him (and his physical body) has grown, and grown, and grown.

Zach planned a surprise proposal right where it all began - just outside of Onieal's on the exact spot where they first met. Carly thought she was joining Zach's family for a "Pizza Tour" and after some gentle (significant) persuasion that they were NOT running late and were exactly where they were supposed to be, Zach dropped to one knee and asked Carly to marry him. Carly was so surprised she never even put down the coffee cup she was holding (Devocion - sponsor us!) and truly didn't believe that this was happening. Carly said yes (of course!) and then went inside to another surprise - both of their families waiting inside to celebrate together.
